Artist & Owner Tiffany Laws is a calligrapher, custom invitation designer and graphic artist who is based in the Seattle, WA area, living in Duvall with her crazy and energetic dog, Kosmo. In 2002, she began her dream in a small way, after a decade long period in the corporate world in executive relations, before the recent surge in everything handmade for weddings, events and design. Initially, Tiffany wanted to explore her creativity by designing her own custom greeting cards, which were unique with handmade details. Her dream began to evolve into announcing life’s most important events keeping that custom and handmade approach. In 2005, living a more creative life, she began formal instruction in calligraphy and its history. Evolving and growing her business dreams further, in 2008 Tiffany formally added fine calligraphy services to her business, Tiffany Ink.
Weddings, Babies, Birthdays, Social and Corporate events throughout the U.S.A. and abroad, are now announced with her calligraphic style and grace. With imagination, creativity and inspiration, along with keeping the handmade uniqueness that drives her, Tiffany can help you with your invitations and announcements as well. She is always thrilled to design and create commissions and custom art pieces for friends, family, clients and non-profit organizations. With her extensive knowledge in customer service and her desire to connect with others, her clients remember and return to her and her work as their lives approach additional major events.
Tiffany continues to study calligraphy to master the craft. She has studied with a number of Master Penman such as Pat Blair, the Chief White House Calligrapher. Her calligraphy mentor is the über-talented calligrapher, scientific illustrator and artist, Kathy Barker. She is a member of Write On Calligraphers and also The International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers and Teachers of Handwriting (IAMPETH).
Tiffany is still evolving and courageously pursuing her creative life studying other artistic mediums from watercolor, book binding, chalkboard art, letterpress printing and whatever medium that moves her.
